I got in car this mornin it was -14, Gti started first time an never stalled once, Ay bad for a 22 year old motor i dont think, :cool: :cool:
Took about 40 mins 2 warm up inside though :cry: :cry:

What concentration of antifreeze are you using 50/50 ?

It might be a bit more than 50/50, Put 2 bottles of havoline anti freeze in,,,
I been usin it 4 a couple of years now,,

wife has a 59 plate mtech something or other bmw on the drive since it snowed its never moved..... rear wheel drive kak cant get it of the drive. old faithfull 8 valve asnt missed a beat starts first time everytime on the button, except yesterday when i had no choice but to let the wife drive it and she left the radio on all night result.......... flat battery  :angry: quick recharge and all is well  :laugh: my antifreeze is mixed 50/50 with no problems although in this extream cold i put an old douva around engine under the bonnet..........sad i know  :grin:

Yeah my mate got a 01  beema an he rang me 2 cum an jump start him off my battery,
Gotta say though i like the idea of the battery in the boot on them beemas,
It was all nice an clean an warm in the boot 4 it,,, :laugh:

Better to have the battery in the front on FWD cars!

Why is it better 2 have battery in front on front wheel drive,
Is it 2 do with the weight or something,
