Noticed that when i started up the last few mornings and the outside temp gauge is showing -7,
-8 say, yet as i travel to work and the temperature rises to -5 the computer then chimes to warn you of ice
Is it just me or don't you think thats a little backward and it should chime as soon as you turn the ignition and the temp is past +4? :undecided:
Yes i'm bored haha
-
Mine chimes at +4

just seems a bit silly really doesn't it?
To me anything past +4 should chime instantly although common sense should tell you that with snow on the ground its going to be a little tricky!
Wow I do sound picky
What were the roads like on your way back down out of interest?
-
Came back Monday before the new snow. But the M5 and M6 were OK.

Tidy  Most of the main roads seem alright around me. Haven't ventured towards Ebbw Vale yet though.
Biggest concern I got is at Black Rock just before Abergavenny :undecided:

M5 is fine
-
The heads of the valley road is clear. When you drop down into Abergavenny there was very little snow around. Made me laugh on the news when they were in Crickhowell, they only have a couple of inches they want to come up into the moutains.

Don't get on it until Junction 9 anyway

Ah good stuff! Though I was heading back towards Merthyr from Asda on Dowlais top and I hit one or two ice patches  That woke me up for sure lol
Perhaps I should drive in reverse and let the derv melt all the snow and ice

I dont have to get in the car to realise it'll be frosty. Soon as i step out the door i know its cold.
but yeh bit odd that Rhys, soon as i start then car no chime but the temp will change by about 2-3 degrees even though i havent moved.

my has never chimed :( lol
