I'm struggling to find a website about this car. It was a stripped out MkV and there were a couple of vids on youtube about it.
One thing I noticed from the spec is that it had lower boost mapped in for the lower gears (something like 0.8bar in 1st, 1.0bar in 2nd and 1.2bar in 3rd). My tuner says thats not possible to do on VAG cars.
Can anyone help find it??

I don't think it's possible with MED9 OEM management. It can be done by engine load which does vary in each gear but I've not seen gear specific maps like you get on Ford tdci management.
Definitely possible with standalone management, but even easier with a digital boost controller in series with the factory N75 (wastegate actuator solenoid). You can set a maximum boost level for each gear with those.. so have the ECU set to boost high across the board but the controller vents the wastegate to limit it however you like in lower gears.

Not sure if its been re-built yet but the original car is dead, he turned it over testing on one of the circuits,

By the way its a DSG box which can be mapped just like the cars ECU.

Very interesting those you tube clips. Found one at which he was at my current state of tune - going around the 'ring Bridge to Gantry in 8.18.
