Don't know much about ipods, but you can use the aux that usually goes to the multichanger to have a USB input.. i think that works with ipods? About 50 sheets from ebay

For that price i'd bung in an aftermarket H/U with full iPod control, sell the Gamma for £25 or so meaning new h/u costs you the princely sum of £25

il stick to w@nky tape input then as i aint messin about changin head units, gammas sound is fine for me and matches dash etc, been there done that so many time on changin head units in mk4's just wondered if there was a lead that would plug into the back to replace old changer plug etc to take ipod in the gammas cd mode... never mind peeps ill suss i out..
cheers any ways

there are leads and stuff available but it won't give you full iPod control and works much like the multi CD changer meaning you can only scroll through 6 playlists
Up to you how bothered you'll be by that though

Dunno if thats any use about adding additional sources on to the standard head unit?
Remember reading a bit when I changed mine to an aftermarket one last week.

yeah had one of them a few years back and the sound was really bad!!
think ill go for the top one that troublestarter put links for ive got headphone lead to rca so that will do fine as im not fussed about ipod control , i normally just bung it on shuffle and let it do its own thing anyways...
cheers
