Is anyone else doing the day on the 17th Jan? Its via Open track, and should be great value for money with free photography, hot drinks and snacks. There's free tution also (First come first served)
The link is here and spaces are still available.
I'm trying new suspension and 888's so should be fun in these temperatures!!
Give me a shout if you're up for it, I can provide a good contact to the organiser.

This day is now £49 if you can book before Tuesday!!
They need to get the numbers up to a satisfactory level!!!
That's going to be the cheapest day of all year.
-
that is cheap! shame my cars in bits lol
-
That is insanely cheap, pity my car needs a few bits doing and I'm skint :-(

It's insanely cheap because it'll be a short day and the weather's likely to be pretty sh*tty.
I'd be there if I wasn't on the IOW and skint.

i was there with my mate in his white mk5 edition30 think i saw you
-
a few mates did this. did you see a white 106 rallye and a green mini going round?
-
It was a fantastic day, with clear skies and a rapidly drying track.
It was very quiet on track, with only two cars driving below par.....the white Mark 2 was great and went very well, was it an 8v?
The 106 was nt hanging around either, the white one being driven just as you'd hope on a trackday, quickly and without cutting anyone up.
(Shame the same can't be said for the blue one
I had a nice little tussle with the Mini, he certainly chucked it through the bends.
The same company are doing a winter warmer deal, the GT circuit at Bedford and Cadwell Park,go to both for £199- How cheap is that?
I did my rear brakes last night, as they had totally had it by the time I left the paddock at 5pm. Fingers crossed I won't have to wait too long for more play time
-
the white mk2 do you mean the track prepped one?? jabbasport and super pro over it??
if so yeah its an 8v :)

i am the owner of the little green mini :D lol
if you were wondering why it managed to keep up with you and go past you its because it aint a normal mini
its supercharged running 123bhp :D
i didn't quite have the speed on the straights to ease past ya because i only have a rubbish 4 speed box lol and yes i was chucking it into corners it could have gone faster though lol
-
I was wondering how the an old A seriees engine Mini got past me (Nice little tussle for a couple of laps- thanks!!) Must have a reasonable power to weight.
Means my little ABF did ok then
-
aye was alright lol, i was quite annoyed to start with cos when you initially went past i had only just left pits so was warming everything up so couldn't play straight away lol
-
And there I was thinking it was a failry even match!
Good fun all the same, makes a pleasnt change not getting absolutely murderded by the BP lot (But then there are some Time Attack boys present at some meets )
Roll on the next one, not much point tuning my car engine wise, it's done 146K and will only go bang, so I'll have to lose weight (mechanically and physically )
-
loosing weight is the most reliable way of gaining power i say
-
I think you'll find that losing weight (as opposed to having weight loose in the car) doesn't gain any power whatsoever, but will gain you speed and agility.
Losing weight from the unsprung mass of the car will make a huge difference to the handling.
