nice head units I'm more swayed towards the kenwood one though !

I'm not too up on stereo's ?? do either of these charge an Iphone and allow you to navigate through it using the car stereo ?

it says in the specs theres 2 ipod cables ?? but that means nowt to me could just be a 3.5 jack ?

I'm after a cheap 2 DIN to control my Iphone not asking much lol and couldnt help noticing this thread :)

it is tight in the dash
best thing is to try and push the iso plug down to behind hte heater controls
it takes a bit of fiddling but it will go eventually
as for the display colour follow this sequence
press the function button then rotate the right hand knob till it comes up with COLOR
when it says that press the knob and then turn it to get the color you want
when done press the knob again

the headunit is screwed into the radio cage which is covered by the facia trim

hello mate, you need to fit the cage then secure it with the tabs, then plumb all the wires in. If you take the panels off under the steering wheel near the headunit you can get your hand up and guide the wires while the headunit goes in so they don't catch. It was a VERY tight fit for mine too

What colour illumination you going for?

here's the process

Insert new radio cage and press in the securing tabs

Plug in headunit and aerial

Locate headunit ensuring that all the leads are nicely tucked away

Screw headunit to new radio cage

Fit black trim fascia

Cheap ebay one?

Think I was meant to post this up a while back, but banburyCo also did a similar job using a cheap ebay double din (his face comes off, mine doesn't). Mine has sat nav, camera inputs, Ipod adapter aux-in etc... Fitted easily and cheaply. There is a thread here when banbury did his install, but I talk about mine abit as I installed my unit prior to his.
