sunday 11th april 2010 at santa-pod
this has soon come round again, one of my favourite shows of the year.
we usually have a club stand at this and have a great turn out, i will sort this out at a later date

i`ve also heard that for a signing on fee(and being a license holder)you can now take a passenger up the strip.
i think if you sign on for £10 you can be a passenger in any car all day.
but check the santa-pod website for correct details

Weather was good, people where so call and the cars going up the strip where great.

There's disabled toilets.  :undecided: What sort of facilities does he need ? I've seen people in wheelchairs at Santa Pod before so your mate will be fine.

Doubt I'll make it again this year as my Rallye is still not fixed. :cry:

Only if your terminal speed is over 110mph.

in other words once you REMAP!!! you will need one :laugh: :laugh:

is anyone going down from machester?  thou i feel as thou everything is trying to stop me going, lol,  had to tax it, straight after hol in canaries, then exhaust clamp replaced as blowing, then day after rad split, so in overnight for that now!, and still not got relays sorted, lmao, shud be ok getting there and back, (touching wood.... lots of it)

just wondered cos my mate was coming with me, but he is now otherwise detained,  thought it wud be good to follow people down...

As mentioned, you are "supposed" to put an helmet on if your terminal velocity is 100mph (i.e. at the end of the strip), but I've seen people do those speeds but not have helmets on. Deffo need your licence and I think that mainly means the green bit, so take both to be on the safe side.

I cant remeber what I hit (apart from my clutch) when I went down but I didnt need / have one in my MK5
