Title: Brake discs options

Been told the front brake discs need replacing soon as there's a bit of a lip forming. Thinking may get all four corners done seeing as they are the originals and have done 105k miles now.

Can anyone recommend some that are worth paying a few extra £s for. Or any I should avoid/overrated?

It's a standard VR6 setup and my daily commute.........not a track car flung round corners.

The Vr6 set up is a decent set.

My 8v GTI come standard from factory with the VR6 bigger brakes and there quite good.

Pointless spending alot more on different brake set up/modifications.. as like you said your not exactly racing or flinging it around corners lets say  :grin:

Go for standard OE spec discs.
