ive been looking at these but wondered how to wire them up and stuff
-
it comes with the wires... as i have already got fogs in my headlights im going to rewire it to the grills.. so i can use my original fog light switch  ..
VW should of put the fogs in the bloody bumper on all of em in first place
i think im gonna order a set then
-
simply to wire up mate.. even easier if you already got fogs in the head light. you cn jus wire em up from, the fogs in the headlights

think what sits behind the drivers lower front grill
anyhoo few people have them and don't have any problems......
-
ive connect them with a 2 pin plug, so its jus a case of taking 3 screws out n un-plugging the fogs, if the worst happened

yh i just thought of that too .. but iv seen loads 1.8t with fogs in the grills and they been fine as u said.. still is a risk in a way...does the intercooler get bit of air through the big centre grill??
hmmm i could cut like a hole in the driver grill part to let bit air through :lipsrsealed:

hmmm i could cut like a hole in the passenger grill part to let bit air through :lipsrsealed:
what good would that do?? there's no ducting on that side to force air across to the intercooler...........
you could just just an FMIC to eliminate your concerns

but then the intercooler pipes would stick out the grill parts so i wont be able to have fog lights there :undecided:
what if i put a duct pipe leading to the intercooler.. would surely be better then nothing.. as looking at the grill as standard there aint that much space for air to pass through..

depends if you buy an ebay special or get someone to knock up some decent custom pipework
I wouldn't worry about it; its not as if we are in the tropics and the engine is in desperate need of lots of cold air

no easy has, you'll get 3 screws for each grill mate, and just screw them into the bumper (job done) only 2 wire's to wire in as well ur positive n negative. wire them from your original fogs easy. personally i removed my fog light bulbs in the head lights, so i dnt av 4 sets of fog light bulbs on at the same time. but thats a personal choice, upto you if u wanna keep the headlight 1's.
-
yh i am gonna take the headlight fogs out.. so beta go for the l.e.d ones then?
-
they are well worth the money mate. i paid 38quid for mine, about 8-9 months ago, mine aint led or i did'nt av the wiring kit. i had to make my own
same seller as well. really fast delivery as well mate. I had mine bk within a week as well.
