no xenons
-
Fishy.. possibly had a front end smack and whoever was repairing it sh!t themselves when they saw the price of the original headlights.
-
Xenons standard on the R32?
-
yup
-
Also I think the wheels are wrong, those wheels where fitted to the later model year R32's.
-
If its a clone its a pretty good one, they went to the bother of fitting the R32 discs and calipers. Shame there are no interior shots, the headrest would probably give it away.

I wonder if its a private / DVLA plate ... DASS VW(W) is a lucky number if not
-
Why does it have the washers?

Why does it have the washers?
Washers would have come with the winter pack even if no xenons.
-
is the front bumper different as well?
-
No fog lights ? :undecided:
-
Same bumper, no fogs on R32.
-
Just seems a bit suspect to me.

Semi Automatic I think. My DSG R32 has S-A on the V5C.

I know that garage well, mine came from there.

ohh learn something new every day always wanted one of them (ps south africa is za not sa)

The wheels are of the later style, but those actual wheels fitted to that car are after market and not VW originals. No Xenons rings alarm bells and shouts "front ender"!!

The centre cap badge of those is too big. The original VW wheels has a smaller badge on the centre cap plus the offset is wrong. They are wider than originals. Copy wheels are always slightly different...

They have to be due to tradmark issues, copy BMW Alpina wheels have 1 less spoke for the same reason.
