Title: Hyundai Coupe to Golf GTI MK V
Post by: simonkit on 31 December 2009, 16:42
Just got back from a test-drive of a MK V GTI & liked it so much I signed on the dotted line !!

I've had an 2.0 SE Hyundai Coupe for a few years so it's certainly going to be a change, in performance & build quality. I was originally considering a Scirocco but prices are a bit too high at the moment & the Golfs practicality is pretty handy too...

Looking forward to picking it up next week

Great site BTW, already printed off the "collection" & "tips" info

Thanks all for the warm welcome...

picked the car up on Friday but due to the dodgy weather it's spent most of the time sat in the garage

It's given me time to do a bit of reading on the forum & update the Satnav to the latest maps.

Looking through the threads I think that I'm not going to bother with the "autolights" & I'll try the "autowipers" on lowest sensitivity - may end up not using them either. One thing I'll definitely be using is the heated seats, Hyundai messed up when they didn't provide them on the initial Gen3 coupes - nothing worse than a cold ar*e !!
