do they have to make it so bloody hard to get at the thermostat housing off.u have to take off the alternater and power/st pump and belts just to change the bloody thing.
-
Take the alternator housing off as well.

Be glad its not a Ford Fusion. Cut the aux belt off, Alternator off, O/S headlight out, jack the car up, change t-stat, re-assemble with new belt and using Fords belt tools...
A job for later in the year.

-
The audi a4 isn't much better.
-
balls i gotta do mine.......maybe.
-
I need mine doing aswell. dreading it.
-
stop moaning, could be worse! could be trying to do it on a mk2 with PAS ;)
its not that hard at all, 3 bolts to loosen so pas pump tension released, then remove 3 bolts and the entire pas pump and bracket assembly comes off. 2 bolts and stat out, refit reverse of removal. easy!
-
My one was easy, 3 bolts at the top of the engine block and the whole thing was off
-
if only they are all as easy!
