Title: Forum errors/problems. I have one and didnt have nowhere to post it!

I have just been trying to post a listing in the classifieds section, iv tried multiple times using firefox and safari just incase it was a browser error but keep getting the same thing...

this:

Database Error: MySQL server has gone away
File: /home/jv/public_html/Sources/Subs.php
Line: 2945

any ideas?

also it would be good to have a section for this such thing so you can be notified of any problems with the forum.

sussed it. it was something to do with the photos. 8 in total but it would post the listing with them. i had to make the topic, save it. modify it and add one pic, save it, modify it, add another pic, save it and so on and so on lol

yeah, as you discovered it doesn't like it when you use lots of img tags in one go, thanks for the post though :)

Jv - want me to take a look at the MySQL settings - a quick tweak would solve this an bump up performance too :)

just to add I notice that if you preview a post before posting it comes up with an session timed out error message  :undecided:

anyone else get this?
