Title: Car keeps cutting out

Whenever I slow down for junctions etc, once I am below around 20mph and I depress the clutch the engine cuts out and has to be restarted.
The idle speed seems ok when stationary.
Also there is a damp spot on the accelerator when revving to pull off.
Anyone give me some ideas to solve the problem

Try swapping the ISV, or maybe look for a leaky vacuum hose. 8)

What engine, what fuel system?
