Hi all, having some issues with my mk3 not starting lately, now its had a new battery and alternator in the last 2 months and after not using it for 48 hours seems to have run flat? nothing was left on in the car to drain therefore im a bit miffed as to whats caused this? anyone else had a similar issue, thanks as always.

Remove the neg terminal on your battery and connect a mm set to amps 2-10amp scale will do between terminal and battery. If you get a reading especially if its over say 0.5 amps then something is draining your battery. If not your starter may be worn putting an unreasonable load on your battery.
