hi, ready to fit my engine but im curiosu to know if i can use fibreglass woven roving as exhaust wrap? im a qualified boat builder and think it may work, this is litterally all thats holding me back, wallets quite tight after xmas so this would be awesome!

Excuse my ignorance but would fibreglass not melt/burn if in contact with the exhaust?

I can't believe you're fitting it to a 1800/200-cc/whatever size your motor is.
The proper exhaust wrap is also a touch more resistant to tearing etc and is designed to be left outside, I don't *think* glass matting is the right solution to this problem.

manifolds when wraped get pritty hot, as in bright orange/yellow when your gunning it
