Title: Buying a RNS510 From Ebay
Post by: GTD-Smurf on 25 December 2009, 08:37
Hi!
Merry Xmas To all    .

Can anyone reccommend a Good Ebay Seller of the RNS510. Looking through post's a see a lot of  people have upgraded to this unit.
There seem to be a few about on ebay, would like the latest version i believe is "C" with V6 Maps. Prices Vary a bit £500,£600,£700 pounds its a lot of money and do not want to get ripped of with a Duff Unit.

In some respects eBay can be one of the safest bets because you can scutinise the seller's feedback and see if they have a history of selling the RNS 510. Some of the cheaper ones have no RNS 510's on their feedback so I'd be dubious about those.

Bought mine on eBay a few weeks ago from somebody who had loads of positive feedbacks for them.

Haggle before you buy as well, the one I bought was 625 delivered but I offered him 550 delivered and he accepted.

I wouldn't recommend you use multims_ltd.

He's a absolute nightmare! There's a thread on here somewhere about him.

Paid £475 for mine version B 2009 from Ebay, works fine now I have had it paired up to the rear view camera and MFSW.
