Title: Forum image bug
Post by: kdiz on 22 December 2009, 09:15
Hey I get this quite a lot where if I try and add an images from an external sites inside img tags it shows

Database Error: MySQL server has gone away
File: /home/jv/public_html/Sources/Subs.php
Line: 2448

I have had this on and off, any ideas as to why this is happening?

It seems to only be occuring in rare occations

It's a MySQL database error - there may be too may connections at that time, or similar.

It seems to only be occuring in rare occations

If it's only rarely I wouldn't get too bent out of shape - you can always ask for a refund.....

yea not complaining about it just thought some admins might like to know, it's also only when posting images not normal posts so it must be messing up when calling a particular function.

yeah seems to be if you add a lot of img tags in to a post in one go. it's fine if you add a few then edit the post to add more. i'll take a look sometime :)
