Title: mysterious button - what is it ?
Post by: duncan_t on 17 December 2009, 18:20
Only had my golf a couple of weeks, just found a button cover rolling round in the footwell. It's a square button about 1.5cm x 1.5cm, picture of a car with what looks like a soundwave coming from the roof into the car. Also a small led in one corner. Is this from my Golf, if so where from and what does it do? I am guessing it is something alarm related?

think it might be the alarm button on the drivers side, on the right by your seat belt, at the very bottom! if that makes sence lol

Thanks. Sounds likely, so what does it do?
