Going to purchase these will they fit alright and will the be ok seing as though they are replicas

I'd check the offset to make sure it's close to or the same as the factory wheels but other than that, they should be fine.

as above mate. ONe of the mates bought a set of replica R8 wheels from there and seemed happy with the service/products etc. They seem to have been around for a bit. Give them a phone and ask :smiley:

Merseyspeed are okay, been around for yonks.
The one concern I'd have with those wheels would be where they were made. Decent quality European made (and safety tested) reps are fine, but be very careful of Far Eastern stuff. The type of wheel may be okay for a ratty old runabout where the finish isn't too important in a couple of years time but for a newish car you want decent quality wheels. Not least for insurance purposes should you ever have to claim. Ask before you buy.
You can get a genuine VW set of black Detroits for £570 inc VAT if you're quick. :cool:
