Title: AGU Gearbox

Right trying to find out some info for a friend.

He owners a S reg Golf 1.8T AGU engine code. Now apparently there are 3 gearbox's for this engine code (so he's been told)?

What we would like to know is this correct and also What model gearbox does he need for his car?

He has been unable to get his box off as yet so couldnt find the part number. It seems the Diff has dropped or something and caused damage. All help would be appreciated.

the gearbox code will also be on the sticker in the spare wheel well or in the front of his service book

it will be O2M *** or similar  :smiley:

a got a box from a 2.0, may fit they look identical
