Title: New golf GTI owner

Hi im new, just recently traded in the grandad mobile (ZT) and opted in for a Golf.  First impressions are great....it's a mk 4 1.8T GTI.

This is my first VW and I ask myself why didn't I buy one before.

Having scouted around the site there seems plenty of interesting articles which are going to be of great help to me in the coming months.  I used to be in a ZR forum which was great something very similar to this.

Welcome. 

I had a Mk4 GTI T which I swopped for a BMW 318 CIS Convertable, really missed the power up hills and 'off the mark'.  Needless to say I only had the BMW a year and went back to a Mk5 GTI. 

With a Mk4 you won't be disappointed.
