Scan it for fault codes first.

It may just need a TB clean

as it rich said its worth scanning for fault codes, but also worth doing a Throttle Body clean as its a straight forward and easy job to do.

Could be numerous things that could cause it like a faulty coilpack, temp sensor etc etc

Is your car running a CAI as from past experience come cold weather time these can frost up and cause problems.
