Title: dsg intake challenge
Post by: andybod on 11 December 2009, 22:13
right ladies and gentlemen fitted my dsg intake mod this evening, so thought just for fun lets see how quick you did it  :wink:fitting the mods that is, my time 1hr 05 ,no need to remove bumper or headlight all i did was remove battery and battery tray, remove air box, remove trim behind headlight remove intake pipe, then remove intake piece under headlight (ok broke it getting it out).refit intake piece (may be easier to order new trim clips for this) modify air box to fit intake pipe (large file and dremmel for this) and smooth bottom half of air box, refit intake pipe and air box (used a bit of silicone sealer to finish off around intake pipe) refit battery tray and battery then refit trim behind headlight job done just need to road test in the morning so 1 hr 05 is the target time any takers on beating it
