nope - bonnet release cable methinks. Had a quick look last night and you can see a bit of a gap where it runs into the car :sad:

same place as that's where my boost gauge vacuum hose comes through, I think I'm going to get some bathroom sealant tomorrow and seal the bugger.

only in the drivers foot well at the moment so I'm thinking bonnet release cable
Its not squelching just yet but the carpet is wet and I'm assuming the underlay is saturated
Looks like at some point I'll be stripping the carpet back :undecided:

You might be luck and get away with not having to take the carpet up. I had this in my passanger foot well. Found that a bung under the car was missing and it was geting in that way. What is did was pull the carpet up and put a Milk bottle under there and left it to evaprat. I know you cant do that on the drivers side :laugh: but you could maybe put a bootle or somthing like that under there after a trip with the heater on the floor. :smiley:

was also thinking about getting those crystals you use to dry out damp in cupboards etc
