Title: Lockable Wheel Nuts have you replaced your?

Hiya, Just wondered how many owners have had there lockable wheel nuts removed and replaced with normal ones? Si

I got BBS wheels and added an extra McGuard Ultra set of locking nuts on top of the VW one, probably pointless but anything that makes it that bit harder has to be worth it

There are only 12 different ones, and even then they are easy to remove without the key.

If you have decent wheels (even bog standard will cost you quite a bit to replace) it's worth it

I think the original question here, which seems to have been missed, is that ccaasjf would like to remove his locking wheelnuts altogether and just have plain nuts on all wheels?!

..........i've got edition 30 alloys on my standard GTI.
