Ok this is starting to annoy me.
When i set off from a stop be it first drive of the day or leaving a junction there is a knock coming form the car
Ive had it at my mechanic and he ahs checked the wheel bearings (thought it sounded rotational) also had the whole car checked over for anything obvious.
Got it back and there was still a knocking noise, the top mounts and a ball socket joint (i think) repalced as they were needing done.
Also read on here that it could be the engine mounts but after going to the garage again he checked them all over and was nothing wrong with them.
We are now stumped, can anyone offer me any advice of what it could be.
The knocking also happens when driving but only in 2nd and 3rd at about 30mph but again not all the time.
Cheers in advance

CV Joint or drive shaft was what crossed my mind but just wanted to see what else people may think it may be.
Had experience of CV joint issues with my last car but they were far more noticable, maybe its just in its early stages of going.

i had a similar problem with another car, i spent ages trying to figure out what the problem was. i went down the same route as you with garages and stuff. On a drive back from the airport i noticed the exhaust was blowing a tiny bit, when i had a look underneath and check the connections the one from the down pipe to the middle section was a bit looses i tightened it and it happened to solve the noise.
I only got the noise under acceleration form a junction and it stopped when i was cruising. Probably due to the vibration from high engine load. I no its a long shot but worth a look if ure out of ideas.
