Post by: sammyj_1001 on 09 December 2009, 18:23
I have mk4 2.0l gti with an intermitant mis fire, which also creates a lul in power as i'm accelerating. Though as i accelerate harder the power comes back. VAG Com picks up nothing, changed plugs ht leads still nothing. Looks electrical. has anyone suffered a simular problem if so, please tell me how to fix it before I spend s**t loads on an autoelectrician. Wayne.

would be defo worth checking these areas then! They dont bring up engine fault codes, and also cause bad misfire, especially the coil
