Title: A brand new Golf, you get it home.....

can anyone provide a list of the things I should be doing to protect the car and amke it easy to look after.

I'm going to clay the car, have never done it.
I would like to put as much protection onto the car so that I can quickly clean it without it taking ages.
perhaps, wheel sealer, paint sealer etc....Im a needing alttile help. cheers

ok i copied this from a previous post i made as the same applies

two buckets with grit guards in one or both [ two bucket washing method ]
good wash mit
good car shampoo
a spray for the wheels to break down the brake dust and tar
microfibre clothes for drying
possibly clay if you dont mind doing that
and a wax suitable for application by hand [with applicator]
