I got a Mk2 Golf in dark grey. I'm thinking of painting the inlet manifold, throttle body, MAF housing and the block, but not sure to go with red or blue as the main colour. Feeling maybe black on the block, red rocker cover, inlet maniolf, throttle body and MAF housing and going as far as a white engine bay later on?
Thoughts please. Cheers.

not really related to detailing should be in the Cosmetic matters section
anyway I would say black with red but thats my personal opinion, i dislike blue and think black and red always looks good

I apologise for posting this in the wrong section.
When you guys say black, do you means everything black? Maybe going for some white/silver areas to break it all up? Give me insperation!

Black with some silver

So what you recon, black out the MAF housing, inlet maniolf and throttle body, rocker cover and the block, leaving the cylinder head and sump silver?

Your car mate, go with what you like.

That's a good point, but I just like to get other people's ideas as sometimes someone suggests something that I don't think of (which usually is pretty much everything) which makes me go a different route.
I've started liking the all-black engine route, seems cool.
