Title: ABS and ASR
Post by: Ant1981 on 06 December 2009, 00:14
On the drive home tonight, ABS and ASR lights both come on.

I did some tests which make it appear that the ABS and ASR are actually malfunctioning.

Are they linked?

Weird this

Well today, went out, the ASR light didn't come on, but the ABS was still on. Then a moment later the ABS light went out. Coming back, no warning lights still.

Would that be by the wheel hub?

When my brake pad wear light came on months back, I thought they had just worn. But when I went to do them, I found the cable had ripped away from the pad, but the light came on when I was driving, smooth roads, no debris. Pads and discs got replaced anyway as they were partly worn and I had bought them anyway.
