Title: 6x9" speakers in shelf supports??

as above, now ive got a standard rear shelf again,  has anyone mounted 6x9 's in there support bits?? mk2...

you would have to go some, not sure they are even wide enough. could always not bother, have some good components up front and a sub in the boot

that's all I'm running. 13cm's in the doors and tweeters in the dash off the headunit and a 10" JL sub off the Genesis amp in the boot. Sounds sweet and clear as can be. I didn't even notice a difference when I disconnected the 6x9's.

hey gaz u ?and mrwotto got ur own personal airstrip, coz everytime i see a golf in ur sig its there ????

very much doubt 6 x 9's would fit, try holding one under and i doubt theres is enough clearance. you'd have to build a mdf spacer also to fit it to the support to allow the cone to move.  id stick with 6 x 4's if your using those mounts.
