Title: grinding or rubbing noise

i am getting a grinding or rubbing noise when turning left but only when acellerating, ive jacked the car up and took the wheels off to look for obvious signs of rubbing but cant see anything the wheel bearings feel ok and the discs and pads look ok, has anyone got any ideas, im sure the noise is coming from the front drivers side, any help appreciated.

CV joint possibly. Check the inner brake pads too. They wear quicker than the outer pad.
