Hi folks

Thought it best to introduce myself, better late than never.

Approaching 40 and owned Veedubs for 21 years now. Started off with Beetles, still have my second one, had Golfs of different styles and speeds and now own a Corrado VR6.
Have a real soft spot for the GTi though especially the Mk2.
Went to the first ever Bug Jam and lots of other VW meetings over the years and intend to start going to a few more now I have more.
Enjoying the Newark meets, nice to see some passion. :)

Thanks for your welcomes, hopefully get to know you all better in the future.

Looking forward to travelling down to some of the shows next year in a convoy or two  8)

Oh  no getting an idea to convert an old solid mk1 1500 GL I've got in the barn into a 5 door GTi hmmmmm :)

I've read the link and followed the instructions and not only have I cut and pasted, but I've also cut and shut and done some welding aswell. I am obviously very short of alcohol at the moment.

So here comes the ouzo and tonic :)
