Very nice motor mate. Getting one just like it..... Hopefully mid January. We have by far picked the best colour in my opinion. Enjoy

I agree with Casabian but, then again, I'm biased as mine is grey too.
Washed it yesterday for the first time in weeks - it tdoes scrub up well I must say.

Hi Steven,
Have just joined the GTI forum having ordered a new GTI in carbon grey.
I saw the pictures of yours - stunning - which influenced my colour choice.
Wife has expressed a strong desire to see the colour in the metal to make sure that she was happy with it, so I was wondering if
1) you were anywhere near me (Bucks), and
2) if so, would there be any chance of a quick look at the car in person?
Many thanks.

Hi,
I got your E-mail asking the same, I wouldn't have minded but I'm up in Lancashire so not nearby I'm afraid.
Regards,
Graeme

Hi
Thanks for the compliments for my GTI, but I'm sorry...I just don't feel comfortable meeting people I don't know from an internet forum. Hope you understand.
There's plenty of official meets and gatherings arranged through the forums I believe, so you could try that..or get down to your local VW dealership
Carbon Grey is a classy colour choice though  good choice

Don't blame you. Nothing against the poster asking to meet you but you don't know him from Adam plus he only has a few posts so not even a regular that others might know.
I could imagine the scenario, "I'll get you at the industrial estate"!!!

ha ha... when him and 4 mates get out of a Range Rover yeilding baseball bats and steal the keys!
Fair point... I wouldn't be meeting a random from a forum either. Perhaps some of the guys who've been around for years - but not someone with 3 posts (at time of writing!).
Maybe I'm just too synical - or perhaps I'm just not stupid
Not that I'm saying eustache is a serial killer or anything

^^^^^ Did the right thing, there.
No offence to other poster.
