Title: Mk3 NA Diesel Query

Hi all, I'm normally in the mk2 section but I've been offered an N reg Mk3 DIESEL (NA) dirt cheap with 5 months tax & mot. I'm looking for a runabout for the winter, It runs fine and looks tidyish, just has niggles like central locking & leccy windows have failed and drivers door won't unlock, a bit of an oil leak and some patchy paintwork repairs. It's pretty slow which I can live with short term,  I'm just wondering how bad could it be and if there are any well known issues with them as I don't want to take on a potential liability? :undecided: Thanks in advance for any info.

They are amazingly slow. But as long as you can live with that then its a good run around.
