Hi.
Saw Jan 2010 of WhatCar mag today, they had a review of the Golf Mk6 vs Kia Ceed vs Focus vs new shape Astra.
Golf wasn't the GTI but was interested to see review against the new Astra.
Results was Golf 1st, Kia 2nd, Astra 3rd, Focus 4th.
Golf review car (not sure which one think it was an oil burner) had a good spec (rear view cam, RCD510, ACC - but interesting review was the first I've read that said ACC wasn't worth it!).
-
ACC not worth in on a cooking golf, since its not likely to driven "enthusiastically" a standard golf's suspension will be pretty much geared for comfort anyway, so agree with what car that ACC is pointless.

Off topic, but it's fu*king NOVEMBER. Will someone send the printed media a calendar, FFS!

Astra and Focus beaten by a Kia? Will be interesting to see the reactions to that on the relevant forums!

lol that went through my mind also regarding the Kia!

Don't even know why they bothered testing the golf. Its not like you could actually get one.
You have to remember a few ex-audi designers went to work at Kia.
