HAVE 1995 M REG DONT KNOW THE ENGINE CODE CANT FIND IT, ITS DRIVING ME CRAZY I NEED NEW DIZZIE BUT DONT THINK THEY ARE UNIVERSAL. CAN ANYBODY TELL ME IF THERE IS ANY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE ENGINES SO I CAN GO ALL SHERLOCK HOLMES ON ITS ASS AND FIND OUT WHAT ENGINE I HAVE. I DONT HAVE STICKER UNDER BOOT OR A STAMP ON THE FRONT OF THE BLOCK PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :sick:

is it bosch or hitachi

dude, it dont matter if you got a 16v, a 8v or a VR6 under the hood, not are fast so you may aswell benifit from the fuel economy of the 8v hahahahaha :grin: :grin: :grin:

Valid point, but they are a nice car to drive as a daily, (esp the 8v) and i like how they look but we all know the score i think :wink:

Yeah yeah 8 valve are not fast by any stretch of the imagination but with my knackered dizzie its slower than a double decker bus doing the school run so i need help back to the point lads, it has a hitachi maf so its not a 2e any slight differences between the agg and ady engines? thanks for the maf idea kells just need one more idea to diagnose the engine then i can order my new dizzie!

pm bored welsh lad as i remember about a month ago he was after a dizzy and he knew the differnces between them and i think it was that the 2e was differnt to the ady/agg's so i GUESS they may be the same.
