Title: Electrics Please Help MK4 gti
Post by: TJJONESVDUB on 25 November 2009, 14:01
Hi Guys & Gals

Ok this is a weird one and i hope someone could help me because i am lost on what this could be.

The other day i got back into my car after having a few things done to it over a couple of weeks and i noticed my key fob wouldnt open it so i thought ok no big issue that can be sorted, so im driving down the road get hot go to open the window, both windows wont open, so i thought open the sunroof, nope that didnt work either, i then stopped to have a look went to turn my interior light on and guess what that didnt work either, at this stage im thinking its ok probly a fuse easy job, but then just as i thought nothing else could go wrong i went to indicate to pull out and yeah you guessed the indicators come on but were constant rather than flashing..now ive checked the windows work by holding the key to the open position and they come up and down..my indicators now flash twice and then go constant so i get 2 flashes right 2 flashes left lol...the sunroof will not work at all ive checked all the wires that run into they all seem undisturbed, all fuses are fine.. im really at my wits end with this now as im lost, ive put it on Vagcom and that says its fine, however on some tests it says the remote did not respond????

if anyone has any clues why all of these would have just stopped working at the same time it would be a great help

cheers people :)
