If you mean the clocks from your Mk3 Golf 1.6 that you're breaking then the answer is no

The rev counter on the 1.6 isn't as high as a GTI, plus the 1.6 doesn't have the MFA display

well, yeah they'll fit and work, but no mfa and rev counter may be different as said
