Title: R-tech help
Post by: manny2k80uk on 24 November 2009, 03:13
 hi r-tech. I had my golf turbo remapped by you back in may and was very impressed.... long story but after a party at my house, the morning after I refused to take some people home because I was still wasted lol. I let my friend take them home in my car who hadn't been drinking and that was the last time I saw it lol. Had a coming together with a tree and a lamp n come close to killing himself. Daft bugger.

Anyway I didn't get to drive it as much as I wanted so I want my new car remapping because it was a big improvement last time.

I know have a seat leon cupra auq 52 reg and just wondering what my options are really. I would probably be wanting a dv and pipercross panel filter to go with it and I'll probably come down from Manchester again.

Also what kind of gains am I looking at and prices for it all with the diffrent maps.

Thanks for your time
Manny

Dam not good news, Sounds like your mate was lucky.

Your Options for the Leon AUQ are the same as the Golf, around 210bhp 230+lbft, remap price = £250 all inc, Filter £34 and DV = £85. rolling road session & diagnostics =  free

One Seatcupra.net mod imo is a low level hand shacker with a MX5.  I think they have there on law on there and still do public hangings..lol  I have been banned 5+times for trying to help a victims on there forum, one who was about to splash out an un-needed £400 for a remap from one of there sponsors, when in fact the guy only needed to get his car check out as the current map was 100% spot on.

We can offer the free mobile remap is needed, now deals in the pipe line sorry to say, only on exhaust systems we can do deals.

Yer weirdos on there them lol. Eerrrmmm I will be in touch on this thread then. Cheers for your help again. Why we are onthe subject of exhausts and that. Would there be a big diffrence in having a decat with standard exhaust. I just don't want it to be loud. Or do you have any high flow exhausts that don't make it sound like a Subaru. Cheers

Quickly just to add to this with my leon are we talking much difrence if I had an exhaust fitted with that map or u recomend another map. What expected bhp n tourqe and prices with exhaust on.

Also I may have blagged my friend with a mk 5 gti to come down for a remap aswell. It's 250 for his aswell I think isn't it. Is there a cheeky deal if we come down together.

Cheers for your help mate

Hello m8,

Mk5 Gti remap = £250 all inc

A full turbo back can give around 225bhp 250lbft with the right mapping, the map will be set up to match your mods.
