Title: vag com on windows 7
Post by: navmk4gti on 23 November 2009, 19:08: right i now have windows 7... but im trying get vag com working and no luck.. i cant even open it up.. i click on it and nothing .. iv run it in compatability mode for xp sp2 as stated on ross tech.. but stil nothing... i cant even open the blood thing :angry:

anyone got it up and running on windows 7?

just got a new laptop with window o/s to and mines exactly the same i have installed the drivers to run the virtual com port but as you nav i click on the desktop icon and nothing :huh:

I got mine working on Windows 7 with no problems at all, scans all ok :afro:

I got mine working on Windows 7 with no problems at all, scans all ok :afro:

yes you need to test it connected to the car as it wont find the interface if its not got one to connect too :rolleyes:

if that dont work PM me the prob. :smiley:

any1 cracked this windows 7 vagcom problem?? still not working for me :angry:

another thing, i work part time in my local volkswagen dealer, as a service technician, as im in university Studying (HND Automotive Engineering).

i can get the vag com software that they use,, onto my laptop, but im not sure if they'res are, more complicated to set up

what do you think mate.... is it worth trying?

worth a shot just dont delete or get rid of the one you have already set up incase dont work :wink:
