2.45am I wake to hear my car alarm going off in the garage. I disconnected it and went back to bed. This morning (2 days later) I decide to take the car to work and the cars dead to the world. I'm guessing it's losing power somewhere hence the alarm going off.
I noticed in the paperwork the previous owner had the battery charged last time it was in the garage. I aint gonna mess about with that and would prefer to replace it.
The point of this post is would I be better putting one in from a diesel or vr6? Are the power ratings any better than my 8v gti? I want something with a bit of kick as my car can be sat idle for up to a fortnight at a time.
