2nd problem of the day, you can pull the ignition key out and the car is still running, the only way to stop the thing is to pull out a relay with number 32 printed on the front. then put relay back in and car will start as per normal next time round.
Thanks

It sound like the ignition switch has gone, or the loom behind the switch is broken or shorted. When the engine is stopped and the key is out, do you have your ignition lights on? If you do, be carefull as the ECU and coil will not like it much if they are energised for long periods of time. Plus they will flatten your battery.

No once you have removed the relay and re insert it into fuse board all ignition lights are off no power on to anything.

next time it happens, pull the plug from the ignition switch. if that helps replace the ignition switch
