Title: Engine numbers!

I have a m 1995 mark 3 8valve and have problems with my distributor and need a new one. I need to know my engine code i think and i dont no where to find it can anybody help please?

Mine was a '95 and the engine was an ADY type

mines a 1994 8v and its a 2E engine there is only 2 types of distributor cap for the 8v bosch and i cant recall the other make.. so best just take the cap of an bring into motorfactors to match it.. do a search for engine code locations should help ya

engine code is on sticker under boot carpet, will be 2E ADY or AGG
