Title: 6speed gearbox help?

would an 02M 6spd box out of a Leon 1.8T fit straight onto my mk4 agu to replace the standard 5speed box????

think you'd need clutch flywheel etc  :undecided:  6 Speed's run a larger diameter clutch

Personally its a lot of work for no real gain.  5 speed ratios are much better than the 6 speed though apparently the 6 speed boxes are stronger  :undecided:

would you also need the driveshafts from the 6 speed box  :undecided:  not sure if they're different sizes.  Only guessing here I'm afraid  :sad:

stuff it i'll just leave that then lol  :laugh: i only thought bout it cos i test drove a mk5 r32 the other day and i just fell in love with it so im trying to do things to my mk4 so i forget about the 32 as i really cant justify shelling out 19k when mines just fine (well needs abit more power)  :grin:
