Title: Removing scratches
Post by: naturn007 on 21 November 2009, 19:42
I recently bought a mk3 gti in what i believe is 'dragon green'.  it does have a lot of scratches on it, some are deep others are not, what is the best product for removing the scratches that are not deep?  I have metalic t-cut in my garage, is this any good?

many thanks

Are you wanting to remove them by hand? If so you really will struggle, you can normally get rid of swirl marks by hand with the right products, but not scratches sorry.

It will really need a machine polish  ... so, either a professional detail with paint correction,   or buy yourself a kit and learn yourself
