Afternoon All,
I have haggled with the stealer as need the below work done -
Cambelt with Tensioners
Water Pump and Anti Freeze
Replace Both Lower Arms
£590.99inc Vat + Parts
Is that a good price should I look around a bit more?
-
It depends i guess if you have cheaper options elsewhere...
Even if was using friends to do the work for 'mates rates' i would still expect to pay around £150 each for those , so around £450 overall...
To have it done by a main dealer for just 25% more is pretty good imo

My local was wanting £450 + Vat for W-pump andd cam belt including fitting and parts, Hope this helps
(obviously this will include new coolant too)
I usually find its best to find a really good indy and bond a relationship with them, it didnt take me long with my last few few golfs but then again ive got star performance on my door step !
