i got an aum, had a few faults on it, went to my local german tuning specialist, plugged it into vag com an discovered my maf was effed!! traded my old one in an paid 80 quid at vw for a brand new one an took it back to my guy an got it plugged in an cleared all faults. all fine, job done. after havin it back and driving it round for a while ive noticed a huge flat spot type thing. if i drive it hard say in 2nd gear at like 5-6000rpm then change into 3rd then flat it, you would expect the turbo to come instantly in yes? as it is already up the revs......mine revs like a non turbo for about a 1000rpm an then the turbo will come in about 4200rpm with a bang an push u back. any ideas? thanks doods

Not that experienced with golfs but a faulty actuator could do that on any turbo car i think.... or maybe fuel cut if your running mega high boost??
