Title: open front grills

just picked up my open front grills and 1 has a duct on the back and the other a small box, do you remove these or leave them on???

You have to be a little careful as the electricals for the right horn and windscreen washer bottle are just behind that right grill.

They are expensive but really, if you do want them, where else do you buy them?

I think I've asked this question in numerous places but never got an answer. I was going to order some from the US on ebay but they definitely aren't OEM, and as such probably don't have the duct etc.

You just take your standard ones off and chip out the infills with a chisel.
Few articles on other MK5 sites showing you how,costs nowt :cool:
